Due to the nature and physical size of my art works, shipping requires customized, protective packaging. Since I simply do not have the time or resources to handle this properly, I use FedEx pack-and-ship services. The local FedEx Office Team I work with not only has the proper resources, but also the type of knowledge, experience and attitude to handle all my packing, shipping and delivery with the level of care I need to feel comfortable that my works will get to you safely. This has always been my major concern regarding shipping.
If you do not already have one, I will ask that you open your own FedEx account so we can have FedEx bill you directly for packing and shipping at rates in effect at time of shipment. It’s very easy to do online at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/home.html. There are no fees or quotas involved. All FedEx needs is your contact and credit card info. When your item(s) are ready to ship, you’ll then provide me with your account number that I in turn will submit to FedEx for billing after shipment.
My quotes will not include FedEx rates to custom-pack and ship to your address. Custom-packing and shipping charges can be closely estimated but actual charges billed cannot be determined by FedEx until after an item has actually been packaged. You can calculate an estimate of their shipping rates directly from their website @ fedex.com/ratefinder/home.
